You have to decide if True Image is right for you. You have features, price, goals, etc. to think about. One thing is for sure is if you have important data in your business or home that needs to be secured from disasters such as hard drive failures or file deletions, you need a backup software package.

True Image is the one I settled on because of its full image backup and restore capabilities. I like the fact that I can do a bare metal restore of my backup to any pc that can handle the windows operating system and my disk space requirements.

Is True Image perfect? No. I have had issues with the remote computer backup tool. In one case I had to manually install the service on the remote computer before I could perform a backup from a remote computer. The documentation shows a automated deploy of this service that did not work. It was an irritation but not a show stopper. I have now done several successful backups and virtual disk conversions.
